Socialization:

-
Socialization plays an essential role in a dog's training, as it involves introducing your pet to a variety of dogs and people, which is crucial for fostering their confidence and developing appropriate social behaviors in different settings. By engaging your dog in diverse social situations, you not only help them become more adaptable but also equip them with the skills necessary to navigate the complexities of the world around them. This exposure is vital for reducing anxiety and fearfulness, allowing your dog to learn how to interact positively with others, whether they are fellow canines or humans. Furthermore, a well-socialized dog is more likely to exhibit good manners and a calm demeanor, making outings more enjoyable for both the pet and their owner. Investing time in socialization can lead to a happier, more balanced dog, ultimately enhancing the bond between you and your furry companion.

Week one:

-
In the initial week of training, the first day is dedicated to fostering a strong connection with your dog through engaging activities such as sitting together and playful interactions. This foundational step is crucial for establishing trust, which is the bedrock of effective training. On the second day, we will introduce the watch/touch command, a vital skill that will seamlessly transition into the leave-it command. This command will be practiced daily, reinforcing your dog's understanding and responsiveness. By the third day, our focus will shift to the sit/stay command, laying the groundwork for more advanced training. The fourth and fifth days will build upon this foundation by incorporating distance and duration into the sit/stay command, ensuring that your dog can maintain the command over extended periods and at varying distances.

-
As we progress to days six and seven, the emphasis will be on recall training, a critical aspect of obedience that enhances safety and control. We will practice the come command both on-leash and off-leash, allowing your dog to learn to respond reliably in diverse environments and situations. This comprehensive approach not only strengthens your dog's obedience but also deepens the bond between you and your pet, making training a rewarding experience for both. By the end of the week, you will notice significant improvements in your dog's behavior and responsiveness, setting the stage for continued learning and growth in the weeks to come.

Week two:

-
In the second week of training, day eight will focus on practicing all commands in a continuous cycle, which is essential for reinforcing the skills your dog has learned so far. This repetition not only solidifies their understanding but also builds their confidence in responding to commands. Following this foundational practice, days nine through eleven will transition the training into real-world environments. By taking your dog to local stores, parks, and various outdoor locations, we will expose them to different stimuli and distractions, allowing them to apply their training in practical situations. This step is crucial for ensuring that your dog can respond reliably, regardless of the setting.

-
From days twelve to fourteen, we will delve deeper into each command, working both on-leash and off-leash to enhance your dog's responsiveness and adaptability. This dual approach will help your dog learn to maintain focus and obedience, whether they are tethered or free to explore. By gradually increasing the complexity of the environments and the level of distractions, we will ensure that your dog becomes a well-rounded companion, capable of navigating various situations with ease. This comprehensive training will not only strengthen your bond but also instill a sense of discipline and confidence in your dog, making them a joy to be around in any circumstance.

Upon returning home:

-
It typically takes about three days for your dog to readjust to their familiar surroundings; adhering to the take-home instructions provided either via email or in person is crucial for a smooth transition. It is essential to have a crate for your dog unless otherwise specified by the trainer, and daily practice is necessary, requiring a minimum of 15 minutes of training each day, ideally broken into three 5-minute sessions.
